Steadiness
We do not panic and we do not hype. Charities work in permanent crisis mode; our job is to be the calm, prepared partner in the room — the one with the plan when the season arrives.
About
We are a UK marketing agency built for charities, NGOs and nonprofits — from international NGOs to community organisations doing urgent work.
The idea
The name stands for a calm, considered way of working. Charities live in permanent crisis mode — emergencies, donor fatigue, shrinking budgets, deadlines that do not move. Most agencies answer that with noise: hype, jargon, inflated promises.
We take the opposite position. We are the calm partner for organisations doing urgent work — steady, measured, and honest about what the numbers say. Less drama, more done.
Calm, considered, measurable.
What we value
We do not panic and we do not hype. Charities work in permanent crisis mode; our job is to be the calm, prepared partner in the room — the one with the plan when the season arrives.
Every claim we make can be defended in a meeting. Every recommendation is backed by your data. If a number cannot be sourced, it does not ship.
Donor psychology, restricted and unrestricted funds, Gift Aid, the seasonal giving calendar and the pressures of working to a mission — the charity and nonprofit world is the world we work in, so you never have to explain it to us.
Partners in your mission, not a vendor billing hours. We build measurement and skills into your team so that, over time, you depend on us less.
Who we are
Sekna was founded by a small team with first-hand experience inside the charity and nonprofit sector — people who have planned year-end and emergency appeals, managed Ad Grants, and answered to trustees for every pound spent. We started Sekna because charities deserve a partner who understands their calendar and their constraints, and who measures success the way they do: in donations, not impressions.
We are based in London and work with organisations across the UK, Europe and North America.
They understood our giving calendar from day one. That alone saved us a quarter of planning.
Tell us where you are and what you are trying to grow. We will reply with a straight answer and a sensible first step — no pitch theatre.
